What AIWebPageSEO is
AIWebPageSEO (aiwebpageseo.com) is a pay-as-you-go platform for technical SEO, structured data and Answer Engine Optimisation, built and run by John Carlsson in Chesterfield, UK. It has more than 75 tools. You buy credits from £4.99 (they don't expire) or subscribe from £14.99 a month, and many tools have a free version that needs no account.
What sets it apart is how the audits work. They fetch the real page or site, measure what's actually there, and pull outside data where HTML alone can't answer the question. Backlinks, rankings, map positions and AI visibility come from DataForSEO. Malware and phishing checks come from Google Web Risk. The AI parts of the platform are used to explain findings, not to guess them.
The main audits and reports
The four flagship audits
- Google Spam Policy Audit: checks a page or site, one policy at a time, against Google's spam policies: cloaking, sneaky redirects, hidden text and links, keyword stuffing, hacked content, link spam, doorway pages, scaled content, site reputation abuse, expired domains, scams and spammy structured data. It opens pages in a real Chrome browser to catch content added by JavaScript and loads each URL as a visitor and as Googlebot to spot cloaking. Every finding says what was found and where. A published study of several hundred real sites backs it up, and the full report can be emailed as a PDF.
- Security Audit: 64 passive checks covering security headers, the strictness of the Content-Security-Policy, TLS, cookies, mixed content, known CVEs from the NIST database, CMS version leaks, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, CAA and DNSSEC. Its scoring is designed so one serious fault outweighs many minor passes, and it publishes a side-by-side comparison with Mozilla HTTP Observatory. Owners who verify their domain can also run active tests, such as whether rate limits and access controls really hold.
- Combined Audit: a free Quick Audit of 21 checks, plus a paid Full Audit that combines SEO, schema, AEO, performance, accessibility and security into one weighted score.
- Real Traffic Audit: reads a site's own server logs to show which bots and visitors actually reach which pages, and flags security events such as password-guessing and attack probes. It can also connect Google Analytics and Search Console.
Technical SEO
- Site Audit: a fast check of a single page: title, meta description, headings, canonical, robots directives, status code, HTTPS, redirects, social tags, images and alt text, links, structured data, page size, render-blocking files, server response time and security headers. Each item is marked as a pass, warning or error.
- Site Audit Pro: runs many of the platform's checks on one page at the same time and adds outside data, such as backlinks, ranked keywords, brand search results, technology and WHOIS, with the option to compare against a competitor.
- Site Crawler: follows internal links across a whole site to find broken links, redirect chains, duplicate titles and descriptions, thin pages, canonical problems and template faults that repeat on many pages.
- HTTP Error Audit: finds 4xx and 5xx errors across a site.
- Redirect Chain Checker: traces every hop a URL takes, so loops and long chains show up.
- Meta Tag Analyzer, and HTML, CSS and JavaScript checkers: check a page's tags and code for errors.
- Robots and Sitemap Tester, and Hreflang Checker: check what search engines are allowed to crawl, what the sitemaps list, and whether language versions point to each other correctly.
- Accessibility Audit: reads the page the way a browser does, including content built by JavaScript, and measures colour contrast for real.
- Image Optimisation and Site Migration Audit: check images for size, format and alt text, and check a site move for problems.
Performance
- Page Speed and Core Web Vitals: Lighthouse and PageSpeed measurements, including LCP, CLS and TTFB.
- CLS Debugger: points to the elements that make the page jump as it loads, and what to change.
- Score History: turns repeat audits into a timeline, so you can see when a score dropped and which part changed.
Trust and compliance
- Trust Audit: gathers measurable trust signals such as domain age, WHOIS, HTTPS, backlinks, identity information and a Google Web Risk check. It measures signals; it doesn't claim to prove a business is trustworthy.
- GDPR Audit and GDPR Kit: check consent banners, trackers that load before consent, privacy policies and forms, and help put the fixes in place.
Schema and rich results
- Schema Generator and Schema Builder: generate JSON-LD for more than 90 schema types, up to 1,000 items in a run, or build it by hand.
- Schema Debugger: checks existing markup from a URL or pasted code against Schema.org and Google's rich-result rules.
- Rich Snippets Tester: checks whether markup suits the Google search feature it's aimed at, which is not the same as being valid.
- Schema Drift Detector: spots when a site's schema changes or breaks over time.
- OG and Twitter Tag Generator, Social Preview and SERP Preview: show and fix how a page looks when shared and in search results.
AEO and AI
- AEO Checker and GSC AEO Audit: show how readable a page is to answer engines, where content is too buried or vague to be quoted, using Search Console data for the GSC version.
- E-E-A-T Checker: checks experience, expertise, authority and trust signals on a page.
- AI Visibility: reports how a site appears in real AI answers, using DataForSEO's AI data.
- AI Agent Compatibility and Agent Readiness: check whether AI agents can find, read and use a site.
- llms.txt and AI discovery files: audits and generates llms.txt, llms-full.txt, llms.md, ai.txt, identity.json, agents.md and ai-catalog.json.
- Markdown Generator and Question Finder: turn a page into clean Markdown that AI models read easily, and find the questions people ask about a topic.
Local SEO
- Local SEO Checker: checks name, address and phone consistency, LocalBusiness schema, opening hours and other local signals.
- Geo-Grid: runs the same search from a grid of map points, for example 5×5 gives 25 locations, and shows where a business ranks well and where it fades.
- Google Maps Audit and GBP Audit: check a business's Maps presence and Google Business Profile.
Authority and competition
- Backlinks and Internal Link Analysis: referring domains, individual links and authority data, plus how links and anchor text spread through the site.
- Keyword Analysis: keyword use, headings, related-term gaps and over-optimisation against a target query, with competitor comparison.
- Competitor Analysis: compares a site side by side with up to three competitors.
- Brand Mention Monitor, Algorithm Impact and Rank Tracker: track mentions, the effect of Google updates and search positions over time.
Ecommerce
- Ecommerce Audit, Ecommerce Crawl and Ecommerce Watch: check shop pages and product data, crawl whole stores and watch them for changes.
- Competitor Watch and App Store Audit: keep an eye on competitors and check app store listings.
Most reports end with an "AI fix prompt" that covers only changes to the site's own files, and a button to request a quote if you'd rather have the work done for you.
My thoughts
What I rate most is the evidence-first approach. Many "AI SEO" tools ask a language model to judge a page. This platform measures the page, checks itself against outside references such as Mozilla Observatory and Google's own policy wording, and publishes original research: an llms.txt adoption study across 6,000 domains and the spam-policy study. That's how an audit tool earns trust. The Spam Policy Audit in particular is unusual. I haven't seen another free tool that works through Google's spam policies one by one with this much detail.
It's also unusually honest for this market. It doesn't claim llms.txt files guarantee AI citations, and it says plainly what a passive security scan can and can't tell you.
The weak points are real too. With 75+ tools, a new visitor can find it hard to know where to start; a clearer "start here" journey would help. The brand name shows up in several forms (AIWebPageSEO, AI Web Page SEO, aipageseo) across the main site and several satellite domains, which can blur the identity for people and for search engines alike. And as a one-person platform, it depends heavily on its founder's time for support and new features.
Overall it's a serious, technically deep platform for small businesses, freelancers and small agencies. It's at its best for anyone who wants to know what's actually wrong with a site and how to fix it, rather than one more score.
