What the checker covers

Schema markup is the layer of your webpage that directly controls rich results, Maps rankings, Knowledge Panel entries and AI search citations. It is also the layer that most SEO tools either ignore entirely or check only superficially.

Our checker specifically audits: the presence and completeness of your schema types (LocalBusiness, Organisation, WebSite, Article, Product etc.), the required and recommended properties for each type, your AEO signals for AI search engines, and your sameAs entity links to authoritative sources.

How to use it

Go to our Schema Debugger and paste your webpage URL into the input box. Press Enter or click Analyse.

In about 5 seconds you see every schema block on your page with a score from 0-100, colour coded green for good, orange for needs work and red for critical issues. Below each block is a full list of every property โ€” present, missing or incorrect.

Click on any error or warning for a plain-English explanation and a specific fix instruction.

What to do with the results

If your score is 80 or above โ€” your schema is solid. Check the grey worth-including properties and consider whether any apply to your business. These build entity authority and AI citation signals over time.

If your score is 50 to 79 โ€” use the enrich panel after generating to add the missing recommended properties. The most common gaps are aggregateRating, sameAs directory links and AEO fields.

If your score is below 50 โ€” use our AI Schema Generator to rewrite your schema from your page URL. This typically moves most sites from below 50 to above 80 in a single generation pass.
