Visitors are unique IP addresses — mobile users change IP and offices share one, so treat it as
a close approximation rather than a headcount. Bots are identified by user agent, so anything
declaring itself an ordinary browser counts as human. Tool runs come from API endpoint calls and
are kept out of page views so nothing is counted twice. Time on tool is dwell time between a
visitor's first and last call, with a 30-minute gap starting a new session — it is not server
processing time, which the log format does not record.
