This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how AIPageSEO uses them, and how you can control your cookie preferences.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as your login status and preferences. Cookies are widely used to make websites function correctly and to provide analytical information to site owners.
AIPageSEO uses cookies for the following purposes:
These cookies are essential for the platform to function. Without them, you cannot log in or use the tools. They include:
These cookies cannot be disabled as the service cannot function without them.
These cookies remember your choices on the platform such as your preferred tool view or dismissed notifications. They expire after 30 days.
We use Google Analytics 4 on some pages to understand how the site is used. It only loads if you click Accept all in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject all, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
When accepted, Google sets two cookies: _ga and _ga_PLGBEDH4NS. On this site they are set to expire after about 13 months. Google's handling of this data is covered by Google's privacy policy.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of our homepage. Choosing Reject all removes these cookies.
Stripe (our payment processor) may set cookies when you interact with the payment flow. These are governed by Stripe's cookie policy. Cloudflare (our CDN and security provider) may set performance and security cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to AIPageSEO. Guidance on managing cookies in popular browsers:
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Cookies set by reputable websites are not dangerous. They are plain text files and cannot execute code, carry viruses or access files on your device. The privacy concern with cookies is tracking — particularly third-party cookies set by advertising networks that follow you across multiple sites. First-party cookies set directly by the site you are visiting, such as those used by AIPageSEO to keep you logged in, are low risk and essential to the service working correctly.
A first-party cookie is set by the website you are currently visiting — in this case, aiwebpageseo.com. It can only be read by that same domain. A third-party cookie is set by a domain other than the one you are visiting, typically an advertising network, analytics provider or social media platform embedded in the page. Third-party cookies are the type most commonly associated with cross-site tracking. AIPageSEO uses Google Analytics and Stripe, which may set their own cookies under their respective domains when you interact with those services.
An HTTP-only cookie is one that cannot be accessed by JavaScript running in the browser — only the server can read and write it. This is a security measure that protects the cookie from being stolen by malicious scripts, a type of attack known as cross-site scripting (XSS). The session authentication cookie AIPageSEO uses to keep you logged in is set as HTTP-only and secure, meaning it is never exposed to JavaScript and is only transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
A secure cookie is one that the browser will only send over an HTTPS connection, never over plain HTTP. This prevents the cookie from being intercepted in transit on unsecured networks. All authentication cookies on AIPageSEO are set with both the Secure and HTTP-only flags, so they are encrypted in transit and inaccessible to client-side scripts.
The SameSite attribute controls whether a cookie is sent with cross-site requests. Set to Strict, the cookie is only sent when the request originates from the same site. Set to Lax, it is sent with top-level navigations (such as clicking a link) but not with embedded requests. Set to None, it is sent with all requests but requires the Secure flag. SameSite=Strict or Lax is the recommended setting for authentication cookies as it helps prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks.
The strictly necessary cookies — specifically the session authentication cookie — are required to log in and use the tools. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service. Analytics cookies are optional and are only set if you explicitly accept them in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject all, or close the banner without choosing, analytics cookies are not set and Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change this choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
You can delete cookies through your browser settings. In Chrome, go to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and other site data, then See all site data and permissions, search for aiwebpageseo.com and click Delete. In Firefox, go to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data, then Manage Data, search for aiwebpageseo.com and click Remove Selected. Note that deleting the session cookie will log you out of your account immediately.
When you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymised data about how you interact with the site — which pages you visit, how long you spend on them, which country you are in (not your precise location), which browser and device you use, and how you arrived at the site. This data is used to understand which tools and pages are most useful, to identify technical issues, and to improve the platform. No personally identifiable information is collected through Google Analytics. You can opt out at any time by choosing Reject all in the Cookie settings.
Stripe is the payment processor used by AIPageSEO. When you interact with the payment flow — entering card details or completing a purchase — Stripe may set cookies under its own domain to prevent fraud, detect unusual activity and remember payment preferences. These cookies are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy and privacy policy. AIPageSEO does not have access to the content of Stripe's cookies and does not use them for tracking or analytics purposes.
Cloudflare is the content delivery network and security provider used by AIPageSEO. It may set a cookie called __cf_bm to identify and manage automated traffic, distinguish bots from legitimate users, and prevent abuse. This cookie is strictly functional — it is used for security rather than tracking — and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Cloudflare may also set cookies related to its bot management and DDoS protection services. These are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
A cookie banner is the notice shown to users when they first visit a website, informing them of cookie use and requesting consent for non-essential cookies. Under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), websites must obtain informed consent before setting any cookies that are not strictly necessary for the service to function. Strictly necessary cookies — such as session cookies required for login — are exempt from the consent requirement. Analytics and advertising cookies require explicit opt-in consent. The consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, meaning pre-ticked boxes and implied consent do not comply.
A session cookie exists only for the duration of your browser session. It is deleted automatically when you close your browser or log out. Session cookies are typically used to maintain state during a single visit — keeping you logged in as you navigate between pages, for example. A persistent cookie has an expiry date set in the future and remains on your device after you close the browser, until it reaches its expiry date or you delete it manually. Persistent cookies are used for purposes such as remembering your login across visits or storing your analytics consent choice.
Yes. If you choose Reject all in the cookie banner, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. The only cookies set will be the strictly necessary session cookie required to keep you logged in, and any security cookies set by Cloudflare for bot protection. You will not be tracked for advertising or analytics purposes. The platform functions identically whether you accept or reject analytics cookies — your choice has no effect on the tools, your account or the results you receive.
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, cookies that process personal data — including analytics cookies that track user behaviour — require a lawful basis. For optional cookies, that lawful basis is consent. This means users must actively opt in; consent cannot be assumed from silence, pre-checked boxes or continued browsing. The right to withdraw consent must be as easy as giving it, which is why AIPageSEO provides a Cookie settings link to change your choice at any time. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under GDPR because they are covered by the legitimate interests of providing the service requested by the user.
When you log out of AIPageSEO, the session authentication cookie is deleted from your browser immediately. This means you will need to sign in again on your next visit. Any preference cookies stored by the platform — such as your dismissed notification state or preferred tool view — may persist until their expiry date, but they contain no personal data and cannot be used to identify you. Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics are not affected by logging out, as they are independent of your account session.
No. AIPageSEO does not use advertising cookies and does not participate in advertising networks or retargeting programmes. No cookie set by this platform is used to serve you advertisements on other websites. The analytics data collected via Google Analytics 4, when you have given consent, is used solely to understand how the platform is used and to improve it. It is not shared with advertising networks or used for any commercial profiling purpose.
