Google says there is nothing special you need to do to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond normal SEO: the page has to be indexed and able to show a snippet. ChatGPT and Perplexity use their own crawlers (OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot), which you control in robots.txt.
