AI Ask (Claude) — Prompts & Use Cases

Advice PageSeo · 8 March 2026 · 0 replies
Share useful prompts and use cases for the AI Ask feature. What SEO questions have you got the most value from? Help others get more from AI-powered analysis.

Good prompts are specific: give the page address, what the page is for, who it is aimed at and the exact problem you want looked at. Ask for the reasoning behind each suggestion, and check any fact or figure against the original source before you change a live page. Share the prompts that gave you the clearest answers.

What to include in a prompt
Start with the page address and one sentence on what the page is for and who it serves. Then name the problem: a title that is too long, a page that is not appearing for a search, a schema error or a paragraph that reads badly. A prompt such as "Review the title and meta description of this page for people searching for emergency plumbers in Leeds, and explain each change" gets a far more useful answer than "improve my SEO".

Prompts that work well
Ask it to rewrite one paragraph in plain English and keep every fact the same. Ask it to explain a finding from one of your audits in simple terms, and what would fix it. Ask it to list the questions a visitor is likely to have that the page does not answer yet.

What to check before you change anything
AI answers can be confidently wrong. Check any figure, date, price or rule against the original source, test any code on a copy of the page first, and keep the wording in your own voice. If an answer contradicts what an audit found on the live page, trust the live page and post both here so we can look at it.
