New to GDPR? This tutorial takes you from "I have no cookie banner" to a compliant setup — scan, generate your documents, deploy the banner, and make tracking wait for consent.
🔒 Open GDPR Kit Full Guide →Enter your website URL. The Kit crawls it and detects every cookie and third-party tracker, sorting them into essential, functional, analytics and marketing.
Create two pages — /privacy-policy and /cookies — and paste in the generated content. Because it lists only the trackers actually on your site, it's more accurate than a generic template. Link both in your footer.
Paste the generated banner HTML as the first element inside your <body> tag, before any other scripts. It shows once for new visitors and remembers their choice.
This is the part most sites get wrong. In Google Tag Manager, trigger your analytics and marketing tags on the banner's consent_accepted event so nothing non-essential fires until the visitor accepts. Test in a fresh browser with the Network tab open.
Save the generated RoPA in your internal documentation. You don't publish it, but you must be able to produce it on request. Re-generate everything whenever you add or remove a third-party tool.
One scan generates all four documents tailored to your site. Pay as you go.
