AI Web Page SEO is an SEO and AEO platform that combines webpage auditing with structured data tools and AI-search visibility checks. It was founded in 2026 by John Carlsson to give technical SEO professionals, and the businesses they support, a faster and more honest way to find and fix what is holding their pages back in search and in AI answer engines.

John started with no background in SEO. He built the audit tools himself because he wanted to know whether the audits he saw were actually right, and to make his own correct. That meant evaluating false positives, finding where an audit reports a problem that is not real, and fixing the cause.
He runs the platform on his own, from the audits and schema tools to support and the blog.
How the Audits Are Checked
Every audit report states what was found and where, so you can verify it on your own page. Before an audit is treated as established, it is tested on real sites rather than only on examples. The established audits have been tested on hundreds of sites across all CMS types:

- An original study of AI file adoption across around 6,000 UK domains, also available as a PDF. It found llms.txt adoption of 11.16% among major brands, that 94% of llms-full.txt files are byte-identical mirrors, and no measurable effect on AI visibility.

Why We Built It
Most SEO platforms were designed for a search-engine landscape that no longer exists. Schema markup is no longer optional. It is how AI engines understand and cite your pages. Core Web Vitals are a ranking factor, not just a recommendation. And answer-engine visibility now matters as much as classic search ranking.
